Since 1967, Cimarron Review has available authors such as Rick Moody, Jonathan Ames, Nobel Prize winner Jose Saramago, Robert Olen Butler, Mark Doty, Diane Wakoski, Tess Gallagher, Richard Shelton, Mark Halliday, Rick Bass, Pam Houston, Paul Muldoon, Willam Stafford and many others.

The Cimarron Review is a proud member of the Council of Literary Magazines and Presses – CLMP and often nominates work for notable contests such as The Pushcart Prize and The O. Henry Prize series. The magazine is available four times a year out of Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK.
